What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for export buyers?
+
For international export buyers, our standard MOQ is 500 pieces per design. However, we are flexible — if you want multiple designs, the combined order must total 500+ pcs. For example, 3 designs × 200 pcs = 600 pcs is acceptable. Samples (1–5 pcs per design) are available before bulk ordering. For domestic buyers, MOQ is 100 pcs per design. Contact info@vadaloindia.com to discuss specific MOQ requirements for your product.
How long does international shipping take?
+
It depends on the shipping mode: Sea Freight: 20–45 days (depending on destination — USA/Europe ~30–35 days, UAE ~7–12 days). Air Freight: 5–10 days to most destinations. Express Courier (DHL/FedEx): 3–7 days door-to-door (for samples). Note: These are transit times after the goods are handed to the carrier. Total lead time includes production time (15–45 days) + dispatch prep (3–5 days) + transit. We will give you a complete ETA from your order confirmation date.
Who pays customs duty — buyer or seller?
+
It depends on the Incoterm agreed in your purchase contract. Under EXW, FOB, CIF, CFR, and DAP — the buyer pays import customs duties and taxes in their country. Under DDP — the seller (Vadalo Ventures) pays all import duties, and the price quoted to you is fully inclusive. We always state the Incoterm clearly in our Proforma Invoice. If you are unsure about import duties in your country, check with your local customs authority or broker before placing your order.
Can I track my order in real-time?
+
Yes! We provide full tracking for all shipments: Sea Freight: Container number + B/L number shared on vessel sailing. Track via shipping line website (Maersk, MSC, COSCO, etc.). Air Freight: AWB number shared immediately. Track via airline cargo portal. Courier (DHL/FedEx): Real-time tracking link shared via email and WhatsApp. Domestic Orders: Docket number + direct tracking link sent via SMS, WhatsApp, and email upon dispatch. Do you provide samples before placing a bulk order?
+
Yes, we strongly encourage sample approval before bulk orders. Sample production takes 5–7 working days, and delivery via DHL/FedEx takes 3–7 additional days to most countries. Sample cost: Free for genuine bulk buyers (courier cost borne by us for serious inquiries). For speculative inquiries, buyer pays courier charges. Samples are dispatched only after receiving your DHL/FedEx account number or prepayment of courier charges. The approved sample becomes the "Golden Sample" and is retained as the bulk order reference standard.

What happens if my goods are damaged during transit?
+
Damage during transit must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs and videos as evidence. Steps to follow: (1) Do not reject the delivery — accept it and note "received with damage" on the delivery receipt / POD; (2) Take photos of outer carton damage + inner goods damage; (3) Email evidence to info@vadaloindia.com within 48 hours. For CIF shipments, an insurance claim will be filed on your behalf. For FOB shipments, contact your marine insurer directly. We work with you to resolve genuine damage claims as quickly as possible. Claims reported after 48 hours cannot be entertained.
Can I cancel my order after placing it?
+
Once production has started, orders cannot be cancelled and the advance payment is forfeited. This is because raw materials are purchased and production resources are allocated specifically for your order. If you need to cancel before production begins (i.e., within 24 hours of advance payment and before our production confirmation), contact us immediately at info@vadaloindia.com. A 10% processing fee may apply. We advise buyers to thoroughly review samples and specifications before approving bulk production — we are always happy to discuss changes before the order is locked in.

+
Our primary HS Codes: Jute bags / sacks: HS 6305.10.00; Cotton bags: HS 6305.20.00; Shopping/tote bags (jute): HS 4202.92.xx; Eco promotional bags: HS 3923.29.xx. Import duties vary by destination country: USA: 0–4.5% under HTSUS; EU: 0% under GSP for India (Form A); UK: 0% under DCTS (formerly GSP); Australia: 0–5%. Always verify current applicable duty with your local customs authority. We provide Certificate of Origin to help buyers claim preferential duty rates wherever applicable.
What is FOB and how is it different from CIF?
+
FOB (Free On Board): We deliver goods to Kolkata Port and load them onto the vessel. After that, you (the buyer) are responsible for freight, insurance, and everything else. You get more control over shipping costs and can choose your own freight forwarder. CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight): We handle everything up to the destination port — including paying for ocean freight AND marine insurance. You just need to handle import customs at your end. CIF price is higher than FOB because we include freight + insurance in our price. Which is better? Most experienced buyers prefer FOB for transparency and cost control. New buyers or those without their own forwarder prefer CIF for simplicity.
How do I get a quotation from Vadalo Ventures?
